Inlet funnel 40 mm for BING type 53, polished, with flat filter screen

Description

Very nice, polished aluminum intake funnel. Front inner diameter 40 mm (connection dimension on the carburetor) with round filter screen. E.g. for BING – carburettors 32, 28 and 26. Attachment with 3 grub screws (offset by 120 degrees) on the flange of the carburetor of BMW 2-valve motorcycles.
Very noble and high quality part!
When using open intake funnels, the carburetor must be retuned. Experience has shown that the main jet is selected a “tens number” larger (eg 160, etc.). The idle jet should be selected to 50 instead of 45. The exact adjustment is made by means of the position of the nozzle needle.
Operation in public traffic not permitted.
