Description
Shaft sealing ring (oil seal) on the shift lever. The shaft seal can be exchanged from the outside. If you are clever, the transmission oil does not need to be drained.
This is best done in pairs. The colleague stands on the right side of the motorcycle and holds the motorcycle in a slightly inclined position. Use a 5 mm Allen key to loosen the gearshift lever and pull it out of the gearbox. The old shaft sealing ring is levered out with 2 old screwdrivers (without sharp edges).
Insert the new sealing ring evenly and press it in from the ratchet box with a suitable nut.
