2 pcs of tapered roller bearings for the steering head. Fits all BMW R models from 1969 onwards.

At the latest when you put the motorcycle on the main stand, move the handlebars with your finger and feel "locking points", the steering head bearing has had its day. Only a smooth-running bearing guarantees a clean steering behavior.

If the bearing is damaged, the fork must be removed, the tapered roller inserts removed and the pressed-in bearing shells pulled out. When inserting the new bearings, ensure that they are extremely clean and that sufficient grease is applied to the bearings.
