Description
The alternator rotor (rotor, armature) sits very firmly on the shaft. The best way to get it loose is with the special screw offered here. A purchase that is always worthwhile. An accessory that every BMW enthusiast should have in their tool store.
Unscrew the original Allen screw and screw in the forcing screw until you feel a slight resistance. Then continue turning with a jerk.
