Carburetor restoration

Description

Overhaul of 2 pieces of BING carburetors € 279, – from 1.1.2019 (incl. VAT). This includes:

Disassemble & clean
Rays with glass beads
Re-cutting all threads
Cleaning in an ultrasonic bath
Rinse and seal with Ballistol
Surface treatment to come as close as possible to the “original”
Assembly with new O-rings, seals and a complete. Set of stainless steel screws
New: the price includes testing and synchronization of the constant or negative pressure carburettors on engines of the corresponding type.
If the customer engine has been overhauled, it has a different compression than the respective test engine; then the idle speed on the customer engine must be reset. For slide carburettors, the assembly continues with the basic setting. This starts the engine and can be adjusted by the customer.

Very dirty (oily, greasy) carburettors must be cleaned separately. This requires additional work for us and an additional ultrasonic bath. We have to charge € 15 for this additional effort. If your carburettors are heavily soiled, you can pre-clean your carburettors before sending them in (e.g. clean the surface with white spirit). Then of course you don’t have to pay this additional expense.

We generally process orders as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, we usually have a delivery time of up to 4 weeks for carburetor restorations. At the beginning of the year up to 6 weeks. For customers who want their carburettors back very quickly, we offer a next-day service in which we carry out the restoration on the day after the mail is received. Naturally, we can accept a maximum of one or two such orders per day and have to charge a surcharge of € 65 on the restoration.

Not included: thread repairs as well as membranes, springs, nozzles and other wear parts. These are only exchanged if necessary. All old parts are enclosed with the return.

Information: Due to increasing prices on the part of our suppliers, we are forced to adjust the prices from 01/01/2019. The restoration of the BING carburettors from /5 now costs €289 per pair, the restoration of the slide carburettors €199 per pair.

Thread repair on the carburetor housing / cover € 15, – / thread (incl. VAT) This includes drilling out, cutting the thread and fitting the thread insert.

New: connection piece for vacuum clock € 24, – / 2 carburettors
