Electronic voltage regulator, adjustable from 13.2 to 15.0 volts. Factory set to 14.2 volts
Fits without modification to BMW R45, 65, 80, 90, 100.
Also known as the “government regulator”. A higher voltage is generated even at a low engine speed.
