Light starter for BMW Motorrad 2-valve engines from 8/1975 new part

Description

At 2.65 kg, this starter is much lighter than the original Bosch starter at 4.2 kg because it has a built-in gearbox.

The biggest advantage is that the starting current is approx. 50% of that of the Bosch starter. Thus, a battery with 7.5 – 20 AH can be used. This one is also smaller and lighter!

It fits without modification in the BMW engine housing of the models R45, R65, R60, R75, R90, R80, R100 from 8/1975. (9 teeth)
